I decided last minute to go to ECCC this year so if you're going let me know! I've never been, but I've been interested for a few years now and I'm really excited! Gonna be re wearing a few costumes, but might also try to debut a few as a test run for Fanime! SPEAKING OF FANIME! Got my room the other day, so now it's official! I have a lot of big things planned like our female avengers group as well as an alt. design of Toothiana from The Rise of the Guardians! I'm also planning for Kim Possible's cheer leader outfit, Kitty from X-men Evolution, Merida, and Videl from Dragon Ball Z!

ALSO I posted a poll asking you guys what costumes of mine you'd like to see more pictures of! I realized I have a lot of costumes and wigs still for characters that I barely worse or have many pictures of, you are free to comment with other suggestions but be warned I might not have the costume or wig anymore! Hopefully this'll be a nice way to get pictures in while I wait for better ones from ALA!

Finally found the time to put together a journal entry! I've been thinking a lot about my costumes lately since ALA is just a month away! I know FOR SURE I'll be bringing:

Day 1:

Pabu (not sure when, but hopefully if I end up having time!)

I'm going to Disneyland on Day 0 and plan to have a Kim Possible shoot afterwards! Unfortunately I have to leave really early on the last day since I have classes/work the next day and need to fly all the way back to Oregon. Thank-you all for helping me decide what else to bring! I'm really excited to see everyone~

Kumoricon is coming up pretty soon! I've gotten some things done, but I still have a lot more to go! Here's the costumes I'm planning on bringing~

-Rapunzel (Tangled)
-Pabu gijinka (LoK)
-Sailor Mars
-Kim Possible

Pabu is 100% done! Kim just needs a little shirt alterations and then she'll be ready as well (I've altered the pants and restyled the wig, and fixed the belt since it broke at Fanime) I FINALLY have everything I need for Rapunzel, but I haven't been able to start because I've been so busy traveling. Hopefully I'll get cracking on her next week, so many details on that costume I really can't put it off much longer! Sailor Mars I also have most of the materials for, and I'll be making progress on that (as well as the rest of our sailor scout group) tomorrow at our sewing party! Really looking forward to getting these last 2 costumes done, I'd like to avoid having to pull any all nighters the week of the con this time around.

I just wanted to say thank-you to everyone who commented on my last journal! I was feeling pretty down and just felt like venting, I didn't expect such a reaction! You guys really brightened me up, and I think I'm ready to start working on stuff again~ I've been sorting through my cosplay plans like crazy, and I think I finally came up with a plan that makes me happy but at the same time won't overwhelm me again. It made me sad to put some things off, but I know I'd much rather do them when I have the time.
I narrowed down my cons as well, after Kumoricon my only plans are ALA and Fanime. There's definitely some cons that I want to go to, like AX, Katsucon, and Youmacon. I'm sure I'll go to them some day, Youmacon is a possibility for 2013 but we'll have to wait and see!
As for costumes, I do have some new ones that I'll still be making, but I've cut them down quite a bit. For Kumoricon I'm making:
Rapunzel, with my friend as Flynn. A bunch of sailor senshi uniforms, and a special Pabu kigurumi so I can parade around with all the Korra cosplayers!
Once Kumoricon is over I'll get to work on Miss Martian (season 2 ver.) for ALA! I'm also tempted to make Madoka's (from Rinne no Lagrange) flight suit, but if I don't have time I'll just stick with her sweats and swimsuit since I might not have to make those.
For Fanime I'm planning a big lady Avengers group (same outfits, just opposite genders), and Gokai Yellow from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger! I originally was also going to attempt Thumbelina's Beetle Ball gown, but I don't think I'm going to have time during the school year..so alas my dream costume will have to wait a little longer!

Keep in mind all the costumes I've listed are just the big ones that I'll be making from scratch, there's still other costumes that I'll be re-wearing/buying.
